# ADAM Privacy Notice v1.0

**Scope:** ADAM accounts, U.S. business-buyer checkout, receipts, digital
delivery, support, refunds, disputes, and security operations.

This notice was prepared from an engineering data inventory and AI legal-risk
review accepted by Archon's founder. It was not reviewed by an attorney.

## Information processed

ADAM processes an account identifier and authentication state; asset, license,
order, tax, payment-status, receipt, entitlement, refund, dispute, and delivery
records; request and security identifiers; and information submitted for
support or legal requests. Stripe may collect contact, billing, payment,
location, device, and fraud-prevention information during hosted Checkout.

ADAM's private commerce tables are designed not to store raw card details, raw
Stripe webhook bodies, buyer email, buyer postal address, bank information,
raw IP address, or raw user-agent strings. Supabase Auth, Stripe, Vercel, email,
and network systems may process some of that information in their respective
roles.

## Purposes

Archon processes information to authenticate buyers; prevent abuse and fraud;
create and reconcile Checkout; calculate and collect applicable tax; issue an
exact license receipt and entitlement; authorize private delivery; provide
support; handle refunds, disputes, takedowns, and legal requests; monitor and
secure the service; and maintain contract, accounting, tax, and audit records.

## Providers and disclosures

Archon uses Stripe for Checkout, payments, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, and
disputes; Supabase for authentication, private database records, and private
object storage; Vercel for hosting, application execution, network protection,
and logs; and Archon-controlled email for support and privacy requests. These
providers process information under their own contracts and notices. Archon
may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security,
in a business transaction, or at the buyer's direction.

ADAM is not designed to sell personal information or use it for targeted
advertising. It does not intentionally include an advertising SDK. Stripe may
use transaction and device signals for its own legal, security, and
fraud-prevention purposes.

## Cookies

ADAM uses essential account-session cookies. They are HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax,
limited to the ADAM path, and Secure in production. Stripe-hosted Checkout may
use cookies or similar technologies as described in Stripe's privacy notice.

## Retention

Archon retains orders, receipts, license snapshots, entitlement events, payment
reconciliation, tax, refund, dispute, takedown, and security audit evidence for
as long as reasonably needed to perform the contract, enforce license rights,
meet tax/accounting duties, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and establish or
defend legal claims. Some records are append-only or delete-restricted to
preserve their integrity. Provider logs and backups follow provider retention
and rotation settings. Archon will delete or de-identify information when it is
no longer reasonably needed and law and system-integrity duties permit.

## Security

Controls include private storage, row-level access controls, bounded session
cookies, signed Stripe webhooks, entitlement checks before delivery, restricted
logging, and revocation-aware access. No system is completely secure.

## Requests

Depending on applicable law, a person may request access, correction, deletion,
or a portable copy of certain personal information or appeal a response. Email
`john@archondigital.xyz` with “ADAM privacy request” and enough information to
locate the account. Archon may verify identity and authority. Requests may be
limited where retention is permitted or required for tax, transaction,
security, fraud, legal claims, license enforcement, or another legal duty.
Stripe may direct requests concerning information it controls to Stripe's own
privacy process.

## Eligibility, changes, and contact

ADAM's initial paid sale is intended only for U.S. business buyers represented
by an adult authorized to bind the buyer. ADAM is not intended for children.

Material notice changes will be identified by version and effective date. A
change does not silently rewrite a completed receipt or accepted license.
